Significance
The Presbyterian Church is the oldest organized denomination in Taylor. In 1878 the church constructed a frame building on this site, and replaced it in 1912 with this structure when the congregation outgrew their small building. The present building is one of two examples of the Beaux-Arts style in Taylor, and it was designed by local architect, Henry Struve.
